Statewide Deed, Lien, Plat, PT-61, and UCC Index

  • Deed Index - This index contains property transactions from all counties since January 1, 1999, including the name of the seller and buyer, location of the property, any liens on the property, and the book and page where the actual deed is filed in the county. Searches can be performed by name, property (subdivision, unit, block and lot) or instrument type, and can be done by county, region (i.e. a county plus all counties that border it) or statewide. Historical data is being added to the system and additionally, images of the corresponding real estate instruments (from participating counties) are currently being added to the on-line system.

    Lien Index - Pursuant to HB1582, the Authority is expanding the statewide uniform automated information system for real and personal property records, (provided for by Code Sections 15-6-97 and 15-6-98), by the addition of a LIENS database. This effort will provide for public access to real estate and personal property information, including liens filed pursuant to Code Section 44-2-2. The system began January 1, 2004.

    Plat Index - Pursuant to HB1582, Act 820, the Authority is expanding the statewide uniform automated information system for real and personal property records, (provided for by Code Sections 15-6-97 and 15-6-98), by the addition of a database for Map and Plat records. This effort will provide for public access to real estate and personal property information, including map and plat images and searchable index data. The system became operational Jan. 1, 2004 for all counties to submit map and plat index data.

    PT-61 Index - PT-61 E-Filing is a collaborative program between the Department of Revenue and the GSCCCA to develop a more efficient process of filing your PT-61 form.

    UCC Index - This index contains UCC financing statement data from all counties since January 1, 1995, and can be searched by name, taxpayer ID, file date and file number. Additionally, the actual image of the corresponding UCC statement can be displayed and printed.


Certified Search

  • A certified search gives the UCC history for a particular company or individual and provides a concise listing of UCCs filed against an entity from 1995 to the current year which contains the following details:

    • instrument number (UCC file number)
    • filing date/time
    • county where UCC is filed
    • debtor name/address and secured party name/address
    • the type of action/UCC (initial UCC or amending document)

    Normal turnaround time for UCC certified search request is 24 hours. Request for certified searches can either be online through the website (without recurring $14.95 monthly access fee - credit card payment only) or mail. The cost per search is 15.00 per debtor name.
